what we have done so far to achieve this goal:
Fund scientific research on critical issues for the region, publish documents, organize community presentations and participate in different forums to share our results, such as the State of Water Forum of BCS.
Co-poduced webinars on critical issues, such as our lack of water situation, with strategic partners to reach larger audiences and promote citizen participation.
Partnered with experts on education, to turn scientific information into engaging teaching materials, workshops and experiences, to inspire local students and teachers to preserve their environment.
Ignited and supported student sustainable projects in the region through local and international ExpoScience Fairs.
Developed and update an educational platform to share project-based learning tools on water preservation, plastic reduction, and biodiversity protection.
Co-created and maintain an Environmental Education Campus in Cabo Pulmo in which we hold events, conferences, and workshops for residents and visitors, to promote the understanding and protection of our delicate ecosystems.
Supported scientists and graduate students who arrive here to carry out studies or a thesis related to the care and preservation of our coastal systems.
Facilitated the acquisition and implementation of monitoring systems for illegal fishing in Cabo Pulmo.
Joined the Cabo Pulmo Vivo Coalition to promote the protection of the Cabo Pulmo National Park and planned development in the region.
And also joined # DESPLASTIFÍCATE Alliance to promote the reduction of pollution from single-use plastics in Baja California Sur.
